2010-2011 Committees
Applause-Staff and teacher appreciation throughout the school year including activities during Teacher Appreciation Week, Staff Birthdays, TCAP Sock Hop, Year-End Awards and Parent-Teacher Conferences with special emphasis on those who work “behind the scenes” to make TFAA an excellent place.- Sharon Stephenson
Box Tops- Manages the Box Top project for the school including publicity, collection and solicitation of prizes for student participants and classroom winners. Box Top money is contributed to the general PTO Budget to support other PTO Committees.- Melissa Chunn or Marian Fleener
Community Relations- Keeping our school in the public eye and seeking out local business patrons to support specific needs of our school are the goals of this committee. Also, collaborate with Dr. Helton in keeping the media informed of events and honors and create ways to invite the community to our campus. Organizes participation in the Back to School Bash, Christmas Parade, Kindergarten Registration, and Boo Hoo Woo Hoo Brunch for incoming Kindergarten parents. -no chair assigned. Sandy Wade
Hospitality- Oversees food preparation or solicitation, set-up, presentation, service, and clean-up at many TFAA events including monthly teacher and staff lunches, performance receptions. Various teams may be set up to handle different kinds or dates of events.- Karline Kucker and Patricia Tyler
Ink Cartridges- Collection of cartridges from parents and the community. Funds raised from this project will go to support the drama program at TFAA.- Colleen Newman
Kroger gift cards/Food Lion program - Manages the Kroger cards program including publicity, collection and distribution of gift cards for the school. The first $75 reached goes into the general fund and anything over that goes into teacher's accounts.- Kim Bundrant and Susan King

School Supply Kits- Manages relationship with vendor EPI for product selection, promotion, sale and delivery to provide school supply kits to the students.- Kelley Watts
